Nippori Station's east gate exits into the textile district. I was sent to Nippori to see the renowned "Tomato" store...five stories of fabric, plus numerous annexes (four? five?!) of one or two stories.
I took about one hundred pictures of bolts of fabric in what was really an overwhelming shop. But having to focus on the fabrics made me feel like I was in one of Tokyo's great art museums. Some blues:
